Job interviews

Hi, I'm officially dyslexic and find job interviews vey stressing and difficult. I never disclose I'm dyslexic at interviews but recently after a job interview which I felt was a hoax at Leeds university I just was very angry and complained about my interview to HR stating that it's already very difficult for a dyslexic to cope with job interviews just to be faced with a hoax one. HR replied that they thought I did not have the 'level' of experience they required for the job without training!! so, if they already have the right 'level' of experience in one of their applicants, and they know already that person can be employed without any training or interviews and that there is nothing we can do in an interview to beat that level of experience why waste our time on hoax interviews?! I'm just frustrated and angry at such people who might've been bored from their day job so they decided to do a play on us, practice their interview skills and waste people's time. They also said that my dyslexia disclosure won't have affected anything!!

 how shocking but true! Most job interviews these days are just a farce. They already know who they want to take and practice their interviewing skills on us! Some employers justify this play and wasting people's time under the comic theme 'we want to see what's out there in the real world' so if they liked you too much after the interview they will ask you to apply again for another play lol, and in it they will take you ' the lucky one' and waste other people's time over another hoax!

All of us were there ;) You know it's a farce, they know it's a farce, they think they're clever and toy us on the assumption we are disparate for the job, they assume people are like chess rocks they can move them anyway they want! It's rubbish that you have to go through these idiots 'the interviewers' to get the job you want. A shambles really!!

 that's true. I have been asked before after stressful interviews to reapply. It happened four or five times, but I never do. I just get fed up, disheartened, angrey, pseudo-depressed from the idiots who wasted my time already preparing for a stressful interview and just dismiss them and their offers altogether. It must be my dyslexia, but it's not something I can control unfortunately. It's difficult to explain in words how disgusted I feel about these idiots 'the interviewers'!! How do they expect us to work with them after these pantomimes?! Absolute idiots!! Oh and it's not personal of course, any human being will feel the same unless he's a very good actor or a robot ! I'm certainly neither!

Interesting but yes, it's probably your dyslexia as most of us who are dyslexic look at the situation as a 'whole'. You see the whole picture not only the job you want. You look at the team you want to work with, the organisation, the place...everything and it seems you marked them really low after the interview. I think you're frustrated because you wanted the job but now those idiots blocked you away from it lol!! They thought you wanted 'a' job!! Most of the time if someone wants any job he will be happy to reapply and act like he appreciates their rubbish feedback and the rubbish interview they gave him. I would advice you to forget all about that post and look for something else. Put it all behind you and distance yourself from it all so you can find your enthusiasm again! Idiots like those interviewers are all around the place, now you know.
